Brand Development, Packaging and Launch
They gave us a shaver—we gave them a brand. In fewer than 4 months we got Axis ready for their debut at the International Housewares Show in Chicago and our work revolutionized what had been a stale, electric shaver category. We conducted market research, provided product design consulting, created award-winning packaging and developed the “Play Hard, Be Smooth” integrated marketing campaign. The debut was a hit with buyers from big box stores on up to high-end boutiques. The orders poured in, the campaign was launched and Axis became an immediate and undeniable presence in the category.
